How It Started

My love for music started early when a friend of my mother gifted me an acoustic guitar. Captivated by renowned guitar players, I quickly moved on to an electric guitar, devoting my youth to practicing and performing at a local blues bar every Tuesday night. My interest in electronic music and DJing began when a school friend started mixing house tracks and organizing parties. Inspired, I purchased a beginner's DJ setup and built a massive collection of records and MP3s. After practicing relentlessly for a year, I started performing gigs in my hometown, eventually becoming a resident DJ at the iconic after-hour club "Sam's" in Bielefeld. To appease my mother, I pursued a 3-year training program at Deutsche Telekom while maintaining my DJ career. I spent weekdays repairing internet and telephone lines and evenings perfecting my music production skills, inspired by the film "Berlin Calling."

Demo CDs and Breakthrough

My journey into distributing demo CDs began when I started attending local parties where renowned DJs performed. I would seize every opportunity to chat with them and hand over my CDs, hoping to make a lasting impression. After several attempts, I finally caught the attention of Tapesh, a DJ I admired. He loved my track "Leadbelly," which led to a collaboration and release on Noir Music from Denmark. The track became a massive success, hitting the top 20 in the Beatport Deep House charts. I went on to produce numerous tracks in various styles, leading to international DJ gigs and a whirlwind touring schedule. However, exhaustion took its toll, and I decided to move to Berlin for a fresh start.

Ghost Production and
Creative Flow

My journey took a new turn when I ventured into ghost production. Initially struggling with sharing my creativity, I realized that my creative energy only grew stronger with each track I produced. Over the years, I've collaborated with many artists, helping them refine their sound and achieve success with releases on prestigious labels. Now, after producing countless tracks, I've developed a unique creative workflow that emphasizes the importance of creative flow. I often compare the creative process to navigating a labyrinth. It's not about having an endless supply of samples or plugins, but about making intuitive decisions based on experience and a healthy mindset for creativity. In this labyrinth, searching for the perfect sound can lead to going through the same door repeatedly, while moving forward requires identifying the door that leads to the exit. A strong set of technical skills and knowledge complements this creative flow, forming my recipe for a successful production.

My productions for others

Over time, i got to work with many well established and not-so established artists of the electronic music scene. For the last few years, my productions for others were concentrated mostly in the Melodic Techno and House spectrum. My clients were able to release their tracks on some of the most important labels of the scene like Diynamic Music, Siamese, Atlant and many more.
